Biography

Jim Lerro was born in 1945 in Philadelphia. His many travels throughout Europe and the United States vividly influenced his art. Nationally acclaimed for his collages and cubist works, Lerro is a versatile artist whose works span many mediums and styles. He is a master painter, sculptor, art lecturer, and a self-taught artist who has invented his own techniques to solve artistic problems.

Lerro has exhibited at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the National Academy of Design, the Philadelphia Art Alliance, and the New Jersey State Museum. His work is also part of numerous public and private collections in the U.S. and Europe.
